Ken , welcome to our neck of the woods.
If you want to ride the mangroves than Jetski Beach at Lovers Key/New Pass is the olace to be.
It's just south of Ft Myers Beach and north of Bonita Springs.
We ride there all the time and know all the trails.
Next weekend we are heading up to St Pete for the FRS but will all be at Jetski Beach in 2 weeks.
Hope you don't mind scratches on your ski but if you ride the mangroves long enough "mangrove rasch" is unavoidable.

KTGP , just got an email from Riva about you posting in the private messages but can't get in to read it.
Looks like I will be at Jetski beach on Sunday (weather permiting).
Don't know if more people from our group will show up but mangroves are calling. Wink

BORIS, NO I dont go and hang at jet ski beach i go with the family and they all go to the beach part at the lock. Jet ski beach is on other side of lock i go over there and ride once in a while they have a slalom courseover there i just mess around on, Mainly stay on the other side more skis hang out there, sometimes go out with 10 skis or so do some spray fights, grudge racing, and wave jumping i personally like the fresh water alot easier on the ski, but i do go to salt. We will be at the locks this weekend. However i would like the mangrove tour with ya'll PEACE

I don't know how many from my group will show but would be glad to guide anyone through the mangroves.

Ride it like you stole it.

Ken , how was the river run ???

You didn't miss much in the mangroves.
We went exploring and making new trails so it was slow going. Breaking branches and pulling up trees is fun but does cut up the skin and scratches the heck out of the ski.
We hope to have some new trails open for future mangrove runs.

Next Sunday is looking good and we should have a nice turn out.

Took my ski out today to make sure it was all OK after last weeks swamping.
She seams to be running good although with the heat and extra oil she is slightly down on speed.
What are the plans for tomorrow ??

Follow the brown signs, and youll be good. hope you can make it. later
