For those of you who may know about this event that took place last weekend at Pismo Beach, CA...All I have to say is AWESOME!!! They had 16 of the best ocean freeriders in the world all competing against each other with great surf moves and HUGE AIRS. The surf was in the 10 to 15 foot range (which is fairly big for that beach). It's been a long time since an event like this has taken place here in the U.S. It was a very laid back event, drive on the beach, chill, and watch some great surf riding. Joe Kenny hosted this event along with Blowsion, Hydroturf, and some other sponsors. If they bring it back next year (which they want too), I highly recommend going. You won't see anything like it unless you catch the IFWA tour as it swings by on one stop down in Oceanside, CA.
