This race has been cancelled due to lack of sponsorship funds and lack of insurance and sanctioning. As a promoter we need to have at least 60 days notice to properly advertise and promote these races, due to the fact that we can not tell our sponsors our definite racing plans for the season in regards to who will sanction and insure the event , they are not ready to release funds until they know what is going to happen. As of right now there is nothing in stone and we are only waiting like the rest of you to find out what is going to happen and who is going to be our insurance carrier and Sanctioning body. Along with who is going to be in charge, who is going to enforce the rule book and who to call? How the points schedule will work and so on and so on?
We will keep you informed as we get informed.

All I can tell you right now is that the current form of the IJSBA has been disolved and we are waiting for the manufactures decide what is going to be the next sanctioning body.

wow, that's distressing. If the IJSBA is definately dissolved I wonder if anyone will pick up the baton before it's too late for any kind of season to take place.

Mario: I know that Watersports Productions in Region 8 has their schedule all lined up, waiting to see will be sactioning the events before publishing the schedule.
