Hello group.. This is the first year that I've owned a double trailer and was wondering if it is safe to load just one ski on the trailer to tow.. I would think it's okay due to the weight of the trailer but putting near 800 lbs on one side I was alittle concerned.. Any comments ??

I've done it myself over long distances with no problem. I prefer to load the ski on the left side to offset the natural crowning on highways. That way if you were to drift to the right the trailer wouldn't have all of the weight on that side in the event it dropped off the highway pavement level and onto the emergency lane level. Just my 2¢!

Thanks guys.. I have it set up on the left side of the trailer now so I guess I won't have to move anything.. Never thought of the offset of the rode.. Then again most of my route to the lake is on freeway so I probably won't have to worry about that..
