Well, my weekend was good until just this morning. I was pulling out of a parking lot when my trailer didn't quit clear the curb. When I started to accelerate, the ski bounced high on one side and then (in slow motion) turn completely over on the street (trailer and all)!!!!! DAng!! Not too much damage, broken mirror, torn grip and scratched up side, not to mention some pride!! Mad
This ever happen to anyone?
I will try and post pics later
Oh, hope everyone had a nice memorial day

Sorry to read that. You made out a lot luckier than the guy I came across last weekend while crossing Alligator Alley. He lost his trailer which "was" carrying a FX-140. The trailer ended up in the median and the FX on the right side against the fence. It looked like it flipped and rolled about a million times. What a mess...

Yes. The springs are located on top of the axle instead of on the bottom. Therefore the ski rides sort of high on the trailer. Also, the trailer seems to bounce quit a bit. There seems to be a lot of weight on the tongue(about 80lbs)and not enough on the trailer, but because of the length of the ski, its already at the end of the trailer. If I were to push the ski back any, it would start hanging off of the trailer. Confused

I feel for you Jumper. I hope your ski is still rideable and you can buff out the scratches from your ski and your pride.

Jumper, Im sorry to hear about your ski. This truely makes my stomach drop. I worry about my ski all the time since I hall it around on a double trailer and only have one ski on it.

I sometimes hall the Quad on the other side at the same time.

The thing about it is, a small set of shocks probably would have prevented this accident. It would have prevented the trailer from bouncing so high.
Has anyone ever rigged small shocks to their trailer???

Torsion axles may have helped.
