From what I was told he was unable to make it. Things in real life just got him too busy these days.
YOU know he wanted to be there.

Yes it was !!!
I can personally vouch for that !

I ran a best of 73.9 on a full tank of gas, 1200 grate, 95+ heat & sauna like humidity conditions !!

Could have went faster but got cut off by a bass boat near the end of the run...oh well, I had a great time !!

And Pistonwash's old boat ran a 80.5 Cool

That was in drag race set up on Thursday with a half of tank.

Its funny how we all want big top speeds yet Leo was the quickest Gp there and only ran 80.5. (Other than Kerrys group who are not human )

I set my Tripple up Like Leo in Tampa and was able to run with him. Yet I put big prop on to get big speeds and he crushes me until he is done on top. And even by then a normal race is over.

My point is this, an 80 to 81 mph GPR will run with the fastest Rxps in the country as long as it can do those speeds without a huge prop.

My single pipe pulled a boat that ran over 81 at the bug by six boats in the midrange. Yes he ran those six boats down and drove buy but only because I did not get in his way.

Lots of ways to set up a boat. Think about what will work best for you before you spend the money.

Guiness uses that term in their documentation about what is required in order for a submission to be recognized as a record.

Why do you have to twist it around? Seriously....I'd like an explination. From you and DAN'S 1300.

Sorry to say the tone of this forum is RIVAs way or the highway. You are still deleting posts that are not meant to be negitive. Others post about the new speed that people saw at Mudbug and those posts have been removed??? Whatever...

A forum is a public place to come, share and learn... You have proven time and time again your only real modivation here is to peddle your goods. I've tried to swing by from time to time and see if things have changed, but no luck. If it doesn't make you all look good then you're not having it here. I'm sure this post will be deleted, edited, or something... Roll Eyes Quite frankly you can close my account for all I care. The new forum is SOOOOOOO much more free, fun, and informative! You can say things like R&D has a better this and a better that.

You act all shocked when someone calls BS on your crap but you KEEP doing it. Hey here's an idea, go sell some more of them great power cores! That was a great thing you all came up with. (WHAT A JOKE!!!)

So in other words it is not looked at as a world record because the sanctioned bodies were not there but in all reality he did beat the speed that you claim as a world record in front of about 100 people with a stalker radar gun.

Correct. Just like our achieved speed of 87.5mph is not looked at as a world record. We've never even claimed 87.5 as the world record speed. We can't control what is assumed.

In our ads and printed catalog we claimed we achieved 87.5mph and noted that Watercraft World Magazine (aka a reputable source) documented it.

In our ads and printed catalog we claimed we built the world's fastet watercraft and that it was "capable" of speeds in excess of 87mph.

On our web site in our PWC Performance Packages & Modified Craft section we list the speed our "World Watercraft Record GP1200R" is "capable of".

In articles in Watercraft World Magazine and PWI it was reported that we achieved 87.5mph in "trial runs".

I never posted anything negative regarding Kerry's achievemnt. I've posted in the past that we encourage others to break our record. Click here! And here too!

We applaud and acknowledge Kerry's achievement and everyone else's at Mudbug.

I am so glad you have brought this up again. I have never been able to find where any mag.Documented the 87 + runs. I saw where you told them the day before or something like that but not that they saw it. Thats the reason for the bug to prove it not claim it. You telling them is NOT them documenting it IMHO.
And I guess your advertizment is just people misunderstanding about the world record holding unit that has only set a record of about 76 I think. But funny it does'nt say any thing about that.

So please show me where they documented it vs.you telling them, where they document it with the normal grafs ect.
My bad if I am wrong and I will apologize,I would realy like to see it vs claimed.

I will scan the article and post it. Any doubters can always contact Ehlert Publishing and ask for Matt Gruhn. He was the editor that documented the run and wrote the article about it and the late Forrest Smith.
