I am looking for a real basic davit to install on a piling. I actually need 2, but am not looking to spend huge amounts of money here b/c they are being installed in an apartment complex I live in. Fortunatly its directly on the water and was given consent to install them at my own cost.
I am looking for one that can simply lift my 750sx out of the water. Also looking for one that can lift my gp1200 out of the water, but dunno if im gonna need an electric winch for this one?? Suggestions?
I looked all over the web for these and only found real sophisticated expensive ones. Just want some basic and cheap. Unless, someone can suggest some kind of ramp that the skis ride onto, but are out of the water completely.
Any suggestions/web sites are greatly appreciated.

I talked to the guys who were building a dock down the road. They sold me 2 used electric deals that lift and pivot the ski onto the dock.I payd $200 for both and they were in perfect condition.
They had tons of that stuff and most of the time they just sell it for scrap.
Talk to the people who build docks and they might be able to help.
