Left the gpr in the garage, and took out my Blaster1 today. Big mistake, I sank it in the surf!
I have flushed it out with fresh water, got all the water out of the engine internals. It was full,- jets of water about 10feet high coming out the plug holes wheb I turned it over! Anyway, have got the ski running, and run about half a tank of fuel through it, took the f/a's off and dribbled some 2 stroke oil down the carb throats, and in the plug holes. Is this enough, or should I take the barrels off and soak the crank bearings with oil? Won,t be able to use the ski untill next Sunday. Ski is a ltd spec ski running pre mix @ 40-1. Thanks You don't stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing! |

Last summer I didn't realize I left my rear drain plugs open. After riding all day, I noticed my boat dragging and finally cut off. I had water above my flame arrestors. I drained the water out the hull at the ramp. Got home rinsed off inside very well, pulled the plugs and turned over the engine to get all the water out. Then ran the boat for about half a tank. Next day, I ran the boat on the hose again for another hour. No problems with mine.

open the carbs and clean the inside the water inside the carbs won't came out just runing the ski and remove the gas pick up and check the tank for water intrusion one big mistake you made was cranking the engine you may force same water true the crank seal and these will damage the bendix gear and stator or bend the cranck next time flip the ski over and turn the engine by and to remove most off the water before you crank the engine
