How did assemble the parts? Did you drill all the hose and use bolts, nails, lag bolts, glue?

Thanks

O.k. the cut list is as follows on the 2x4's.

4 @ 48" for the long section of the stand. This will be the top bunks and the bottom section of the stand.
4 @ 29" for the front and back side of the stand. 2 will be place on the front/back top section of the stand and the other 2 will be mounted to the bottom section of the stand for the casters to mount to..
4 @ 14 1/2" @ 30 degrees roughly on the top section of the bunk. These will be what the top and bottom section of your stand 2x4's mount too. (You pick what angle you want your bunks at. YOu can match the trailer bunks to make it easier.)
2 @ 29" for the very bottom bracing. These will add structural integrity and longevity.
2 @ 20" for the side bracing section. It ties the bottom 48" section and the side 29" 2x4's together so that it doesn't fold like a piece of toast bread on you once you decide to move the stand..
4-3" casters with bearings
2 garage door handles mounted to the bottom of the 29" pieces so that you can take your strap and hold the pwc on the stand and not have it slide off.

Hope this helps. I will try to make up a drawing if you need it and either fax it to you or post it here but it won't be till Sunday the earliest. Need to go out of town and won't be back till then..

Oh ya. I forgot to mention. When I built my first one I just nailed it together and used plenty of glue and liquid nails. For my second one I ended up using 3" drywalls screws to hold it together again with plenty of glue and liquid nails.. You can go ahead and use lag bolts but it isn't necessary. As long as you take your time and do it right then you will be fine.

I did almost exacly what suckmywake did. I got my castors from an old BJ's cart, cheaper than buying them if you can find an old cart or something.

on the tires, I think is is better that the trailor tires aren't left on a concrete floor all winter long in one position, so what I do is place some cut up pieces of all weather carpet under the tires (I don't bother jacking the trailer up)

i hate to jump in but since i live in the suberbs with little thieves running around, i put my trailer on jack stands and remove the tires. then i run a cable around the impeller shaft and the trailer axle. it seems like a little much but it will make it very hard to steal.

IF ya know someone w/ a welder, dosent take much tubing couple 1x3 065 some casters and carpet and couple of hours I have 2 and a buddy got 1 I'm getting ready to build a couple more, I'm contantly pulling my crafts off the different trailers I use, also make great benches for rolling around in garage when crafts are not on them. If need photo's would be glad to send, just my opinion but thats lot of money on the wood, The casters would be your most valued assett if you intend to roll it around much, cheap ones will bend, I'll bet I dont have 55.00 into each one (casters roughly 40.00 to 50.00 depending where you get them.

Check around in your home city. Most large cities, have somebody that sales plastic playground equipment. You can buy 2x4's made of plastic, that work nice for runners, and last forever.

Oops! My yahoo account was almost full. I cleaned it up. If the mail will be less than 2.4 Megs (attachments + overhead) then mail them to the address in my profile: shojuan89@yahoo.com
If you've got more photos than the 2.4 megs I have left will cover then just shoot an email to shojuan89@yahoo.com and I'll give you another email address you can send the photos to rather than my less-than-private email account.

Thanks.

Rick
