Oh yeah, go Rius, go Yamaha. the GPR is a great boat...
 Sorry but I couldn't help it. First, Congratulations to Farthing on the win......11, I have nothing against the STXR...It is THE BEST race boat out there....thats why I just Bought one!! but it's getting old with the same team, same rider winning everything....I dont even feel like watching the races anymore. I have nothing personal agains Mac either but I am very happy he didnt win......my real wish was that another team or brand beat them even the sea doo.

Well, after listening to the races today it seems like Farthing vs. Mac was a GREAT show. The sport did really well when it was only Kaws on the line, and today's race helped to explain why the brand wars are unimportant.
So if Yam can't do anything decent by their customers it won't matter to the customers in the long run . . only Yamaha suffers. Now that he's selling Rotax kits, maybe Rius will try an RXP next year and give Bosio a run for the money. Of course, it looks like Team Green is already working hard on their 4-stroke development effort to make a very competitive 1500. Well, if Kawi's history with watercraft is any indication, then the best thing to do is WAIT and not buy any four stroke Kawi watercraft, until they release a race version. Then it will be a good one. Except, the top deck is STILL made for midgets.

funny things is 11, the gpr may have only 1 pro title under its belt, it is hands down the fastest production pwc hull ever produced. that is the bottom line fact. for guys like me, the bouy to bouy racing doesnt matter one bit, yamahas sales prove me correct as well. people buy the gpr for one thing, speed. the stxr has proven itself in the course, no doubt. but the unfortunate part for you racers is, why would yamaha "recreate" the wheel when they have a number one seller? all they care about is numbers.

An excellent point Hop. The GPR does what it is designed to do (fun to ride rec ski that can actually hold two people with killer straight line speed) better than any other ski. On the same note, the STXR does what it is designed to do (closed course warrior) better than any other ski.

Mark, Kenny is listed to be on a Sea-doo. All year long he has been listed as Polaris. Either way, Yamaha has at least 4 in the top 10,and Kaw has only 3, if Mark is right, that makes 5 in the top 10 for a company that does not "fully" support racing. I know 2nd is the first looser, but I don't think 4 or 5 in the top ten is to bad a showing for a supposed inferior machine.I still belive the stxr is only funded better and not that much of a superior piece of fiberglass.

Kenny was on his XPL in the Pro 1200.

rius was running a strong third in the first moto when he siezed one of his cylinders. In the second moto rius made that xpl look silly when he flew by it to take third in the final. 11 I like you man but your anti gpr attitude gets really old. We all know what your thoughts on the gprs are. Congrats to farthing and kawasaki a well deserved win. Congrats to rius for getting his gpr fixed in between motos and taking third. Oh and a big thumbs up to kenny for wearing an american flag on his back during the second moto for rius to look at for more than half the race. nice touch

Now you got me with "RIUZ" that is a new spelling I didn't know of for "RIUS", I was getting used to "Ruis" but it takes a lot of talent to manage mispelling a 4 letters name and I give you that Big Joe.
