This may be a little early but I'm having to work really hard to convince myself not to replace the GSX with a RXP just yet:

I saw the post Johnny made about the 05 GPR...minimal changes? Is it true, is it misleading, anybody know?

Kawi...rumors about a SC STX15F, skis being tested running 80ish...what's really going on?

Doo...same RXP, RXP with more power, different hull (no hook), what?

Polaris...left behind, sneaking something in, hopelessly lost, a new 2 seater with a 3 cylinder turbo'd version of the 150 motor (wishful)?

Honda...R15X?...or just another season of different colors?

Let's hear them, racing season is in full swing...insiders are out and about...give me something... Eek Confused Big Grin

Not very easily. Why don't you just call it GP1300R because it won't happen next year.

Hey Joe look what I found in http://rivaforums.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&s=6446095904&f=4886094314&m=6796097514&r=1896097514#1896097514 post.
"thats right kids the gp1300r is comin back in 04, so is the fx140 and fx cruiser, but wait whats this I see comming in my crystal ball? yep thats right its an 185 horse power super charged 4 stroke in a 2 seat hull. It will share the front nose section of the gpr but the back half and upper deck will get a complete overhaul. Can you say lighter faster and stronger than the gp1300r? I can!!!

this new 2 seater is coming late in 04."
I guess your crystal ball is a year off. Razz

Well joe you let the cat out of the bag.it is true a very good source of mine has informed me of what joe has described he has even seen the prototype,it will be released in late 04 as an 05 model, from what i was told it will not be called a gpr.it will sport a 185 hp supercharged r1 motor.the same motor that is suppsedly going into the fx140 for 04.i sure hope my man is right cause i will be first in line to pickup one of those 4 stroke

Maybe they are having development problems. If Mark hahn said they are working on it I believe him. If his source is a year off so be it.

I would love to eat crow, but my sources her in Japan with both Yamaha and Kawi say niether company will sport SCs in 05. Not till the 06 models.

My sources include a yamaha dealer friend of mine who is on a first name basis with the guy who designed the FX-140/160 motor, and Kawi dealer who is also intimate with Kawi Japan.

But like I said - I'd love to eat crow and see something this year...

Enjoy all,

Ray

Kawasaki: A new 2 seater hull with a crispier version of the 15F's engine, eventually a 2000cc 3 seater.

OR BOTH.

Yamaha: A new GPR 4 strokes 1200 with a gear reduction, 200 hps, a shortened FX hull and a new top deck.

Honda: Nothing before 2006

SeaDoo: maybe the intercooled engine in the SC but that's it.

Polaris: a naturally aspirated 250cc 4 strokes 4 seater. Big Grin

I am really interested to see the supercharged STX15F. I'm sure it will make a lot of noise at the World Finals, one way or another. If the 80+ speeds that keep getting thrown around are true, Whoa! Eek

Those 80+ speeds on the kawi's are factory boats Minuro Kanimori is working on with a super charger ...pipes and igniton....ect...
those are not going to be production boats.

even if kawi has a super charger in a production boat I bet it dont break 65mph...if so barely, the STX DI OR STXR "same thing" hull is just a robber for speed.... But never know they might change the hull...

I see no reason to buy a new watercraft UNLESS the manuf start getting more innovative.

-1500cc 2 seater, turbo'd 200hp minimum.
-Top deck made for 5'10" and larger riders...Deal with it, ya bunch of midgets! Big Grin
-Carbon fiber topdeck (minimum) and hull.
-GPS speedo. Information center seperate. Garmin preferably.
-Stock cooling fans.
-Suspension seat.
-$9000 List, and not a penny more.
