Just wondering what some of you are using for your PWC moving/storage needs? Does anyone know where to get the best deal on a cart?

sounds sarcastic, Mad the one with the 4by's is for the 3 seater. 2 by is for the gpr. sat all winter and didn't flex a bit. just kidding about the sarcastic. takes about an hour or so each

Yeah, I really want to see them. My other option is to spend $$$.$$ for a couple. I need one for my GPR and another for my F12X so I can store them in the garage this winter.

My garage is just a little to tight with the VetteBig Grin taking up most of it.

Here is a quick pic of the one I have been using now for the past 3+ years. Same way that SMW described and it has not feeled me yet.. Parts total was 3-2x4's and 1-2x6 for the top bunks, 4 heavy duty casters (trust me don't go cheap on these) and some carpet and you are all set..

Dayum, that looks great! Are the bunks laying flat, as in screwed down from the top?

does look good - good job! Guess if I get a 2nd ski I well need one!

how are u moving the ski from the trailer - it does not look like you have a really old house with unreal center cross beams in the garage.. infact yours must be covered.. I was going to rig a pully system there!

Sand man it not that hard to get the ski off the trailer. All you need to do is tie the stand to the trailer take a deep breath and pull.

I found that using bunk mates is the best way togo IMO. make siding the ski sooooooooo much easier.
Hey sand you said you got some Maxma 927 injector you want to get ride off. I might be interested if you still got them

i can pull either the gpr or the 3 seater 800 off no prob in about 5 minutes by myself.the stand is even with the height of the bunks on the trailer. don't even tie it together. goes like silk if the bunks are wet

The top bunks at are a 35 degree angle. Give or take a couple. When loading the ski onto the trailer and off of the trailer I just roll the shop stand right up to it and either push or pull. You will want to use silicone spray on the bunks themselves to help with the movement of it. As for using the bunkmates yes they are good and make life easier but look at the bottom of your hull after a year or so. I had them and loved them till I found the deep gouges from them in the smc of my 97 GP1200. Once I had that repainted I pulled them off of my trailer bunks and started to spray silicone spray on them...

WD-40 works also. Waxing the hull makes life easier too. Wink

Here's an idea! I had to replace the bunks on my 23ft. Sea Ray so I used treated 2x6.Instead of using carpet, I bought vinyl siding & cut strips the width of the 2x6(excluding the ridges on the siding)and used liquid nails to glue the strips down.1 small bead around the edge (so it doesnt squish out)and a medium wave down the center.Put load on in 24hr's and Wah lah she's set.Should work great on 2x4's for ski's the extra width & flattness should prevent any gouging,a little silicone now & then should keep it easy! Is there a reason you do not want to leave the ski on the trailer for a long period of time? Why do I not a cart? Can't it just stay on trailer all winter.

Your ski will be fine on the trailer all year. I like to bring mine inside when possible for security reasons and cosmetic purposes. And don't forget ease of maintanence.

like to bring inside for security and also in case u want to do some wrenching. out of the elements and also takes the weight off the trailer tires during the winter, not good to have sit in one spot for any length of time. u may get a flat spot or dry rot.
