Oh, I can guarantee you this will be it:

"I'm not used to this heat and humidity - can't seem to get the carbs tuned just right".

Everybody, including the guys in the south, are going to be battling the heat that weekend!

I may be one of the excuse guys. Hopefully my ski will be running this weekend. Otherwise I may have to miss it.

Jarret, put it back to stock, I know what your up to, hehe Big Grin If your still having problems ask Hulk for some advise, BTW - I think its the pitch on the prop, even 1/2 a deg will hold those RPM's down.

I had to laugh this last weekend about the "excuses" post on the forum. Everyone was running bad or having problems, and we were all panicking because of the Mudbug race. Cajundude, me, Jay all had weird things go wrong with our skis. And the reason? We're all scrambling to go faster, and changing things at the last minute! Cajundude had a stuck needle and seat on his new carbs; I had a new prop that slowed me down by 2+ mph; Jay had a PV problem... Wonder how many other people are having the same problems Big Grin
