OK, I can't resist chiming in on that one...

Sure your not just coverin your a$$ now boogie and havin the excuse "pre-made"? Wink I can't make it nor think about trying, but I also know that my ski would be one of the slowest! Although I was quite happy that a GPR went blowin by me Sunday and I was able to make up some ground on him before he pulled off to the side. Rest of the day when he saw me coming he would turn the other direction and go past me the wrong way! Kinda makes me mad that he wouldn't race, but I was happy that he couldn't pull away from me and I was actually closing the gap! Not bad for my old Raider. Especially since I was at a dead stop and tried to time it so I could take off and be beside him at full throttle! Big Grin

96 WaveRaider 1100 with Riva Flame Arrestors, Boyesen Reeds, Solas 13/19, Top Loader Grate, Pro-Tec Shortie Ride Plate (speedo intact), Riva milled 150 psi head, Primer Kit, Pre-mix 50:1, Pro-Tec Sponsons. Won't run with the big bores or triples, but it's paid for and fun to ride! Big Grin

Cajundude had a stuck needle and seat on his new carbs; I had a new prop that slowed me down by 2+ mph; Jay had a PV problem... Wonder how many other people are having the same problems Big Grin

You forgot to mention, because one of the boss mounts breaking on my ski it has caused stripping of the mounts on my heads resulting in me not being able to mount the stinger properly. With the last one stripping I know have no way of mounting the stinger.

No excuses here though, the fix is in the mix. I'll be ready. Just had to spend money elsewhere instead of some other parts I wanted for Mudbug. I'll probably be a mph or so slower than expected but I'll be there. Besides, I'm not big bore, so I know I won't be the fastest.

Josh-

I know you were kidding, but I said a "new" prop slowed me down. My regular prop went back on and I'm running fine. Not covering anything - my ski will run as good as it usually does, and let the chips fall where they may.

Boogie, I guess I can come clean as well. I started modding my RXP for the bug and its running slower than stock now... Mad

So I will most likely be there going slower than I would had I not touched my ski, hehe. But its not like my ski was any compeition from the beginning. Just a lowly old RXP Smile

Hopefully that won't be necessary Mike, but I appreciate the gesture. I would however like to take you up on that offer to ride your ski if it still stands Big Grin

"This gonna suck"

Nah, around here 40% means it may rain, it might not. If it does, it will be off and on and will usually happen in the afternoon.
I've seen it rain at 10% chance, and not rain at 60% chance. This is Louisiana.

Bahhhh, if the LA weather folks are as good as TX weather folks that is just filler until the day gets there and they can peek out the window and see how the weather really is.

The weather shouldn't be bad. The forcast has been like that for the last week. we may get a little shower in the afternoon, but that is about it. It never stays raining for long.

the weather changes very quickly over here.
Here is a radar mapthat i always look at.

Here is where Morgan City is on the map.

I agree. I'm from New Orleans and have seen it say 100% chance and it was blue skies most of the day. It's Louisiana. You only need a high school diploma to be a meteorologist because nobody really knows what's really gonna happen with the weather.
