Has anyone built one of these themselves? I was looking for some ideas and dimensions so I know how much steel to buy.

Make them out of aluminum, I have made one for my Blaster 2 and one for my GPR. The one I made for the gpr has two bases. One for the garage and has castors and the other for the beach. Made with pins for easy takedown.
Steel is so heavy.

I have built a few out of .065 1"x3" tubing and I am working on one as we speek just fired up the welder. I have 20bucks in a stick of 1by3 20feet long then the casters, the ones I'm useing now are going on a stand for a show so I'm useing one with brakes. You can get them from 20 bucks and up for all 4.

I have and usually get away with 1 stick of 1inch by 3inch 065 20ft long, unless I do something else to the stand that requires different size material. Can send photo's just give me your e-mail address.
