Which 1 of these is the best for straight line 1/2 ft. chop Handling & Racing?
My old GPR was no match for my 15f. THe 15f muscled through everything and stayed planted.

Don't want to make a mistake and buy a FZS or FZR If its going to porpoise and cavitate in straight line racing riding 2 up. DOES THE FZR stay hooked? THe 260x Handled very good and I felt the RXT-X nosed a bit. Just need something I can take my fiance on with me and be competitive in the open bay without hopping around.
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

hey whats up man. haven't seen you in the yamaha section in awhile.I'm gonna have to say the fzr not just because i'm a die hard yamaha fan ,but thats the only ski that you mentioned that i have ridden. i have a 06 gpr 1300 and that fzr out handled and i think out accelerated it too.plus i think seadoo s are junk......
mike

MY STATS:
06'YAMAHA GP1300R
RIVA INTAKE GRATE
RIVA RIDE PLATE(shimed!)
RIVA TRIM TABS
RIVA D-PLATE
RIVA PUMP SEAL KIT
STEPPED SPONSONS
i get approx. 75 mph on the speedo! in the back bays....8-)

Whats up, yeah, a fiance and a baby girl drained me for the short term but its worth it! I had the gp1300r and was frustrated with the holeshot and roughwater hookup riding 2 up. The 15f that I had was far more superior with a passenger. I am trying to get as much info as possible so I dont make a $10,000 mistake. Whatever ski I buy I am going to buy a stage 1 kit for. I really want to believe that Yamaha has finally got there cards in place again.
Thats good information about the FZR. Is the FZS bigger than the FZR, or does it just have a different back seat to compensate for a 3rd passenger?
Any1 else have any feedback on the 260x, rxt-x, or Fzs for straight line hookup riding 2 up? Thanks. Mike.

s and the r are the same size on 09, difference is with the step up bar on the s and a little different design in the rear seat. the fz's with aftermarket intake grate and a ride plate (stock mod plate for now) until one released hook up really well Wink and is probably the smoothest ride u will fine out there. 260x has a little advantage in the big stuff because of its deep v hull but imo engine realibility is of more concern. the Rxt x will not do as well in the chop as the yammi or kawi and if ya can find someone with a FZ (there's plenty of them out there now) and take a ride and see for yourself since u have rode the others. good luck with your shopping
