I had the local yamaha dealer rebuild the carbs on my 98 GP1200. They said that they could install my riva primer kit for an extra $20.00 because they would have the carbs off. I agreed and they installed it. It works great. But I noticed later that they T'ed off of the out line. I thought the instructions said to T off of the reserve line. But they threw the instructions away. Which is correct?
Thanks,
Budman

I would have t'ed off the reserve line. If there's no fuel in the carbs in the first place you won't be able to pump any to the carbs from the return!

hi budman the t goes in the reserve line and you have fittings that go where the choke shafts use to be and 2 fitting on the primer one sucks the fuel from the tank and the other one pushes it in too the carbie that should fix your problem on you primer kit
