Just wondering if anyone here is in the military. If so pick up the Air Force, Army, Navy or Marine Times this week to pick up the Rec. guide. You will notice the rider on the front cover. That Is me. It was taken about a month ago at Patrick Air Force Base Where I am stationed.

Hey Novo64,

What do you do there? I'm retired UASF, and my son is stationed at Patrick. Great assignment!

Believe it or not I have one of those cool job I can't talk about. But It is the best place I have ever been stationed. I love it here. I only live one block from the beach. Doesn' get much better than that.

Novo64, My son is also a 9S100. I've been in the building for his re-enlistment. (Yep, I've got the clearances...) Too cool. He was on the 3rd floor overlooking the cape. Now he flies on the WC-135W. What is your name?

eh Jake - retired radar eh? Whats your last name? ATC, auto track, or heavy? I'm still active, the 2E maintenence super here at Misawa but grew up as a ATC Radar maint guy. I'm about done though - got two years left but after 25 years, I'm ready to punch now so I'm gonna drop my paperwork when I get back off leave and see if they'll approve it for a 1 March 05 retirement date.

Ray Richards...

Hey Jake er Shaun er Jake! Smile

I've worked on the GPN-22 but not the -19. Is the MACS a new system? Shoot - I remember working on the -22 back in tech school in 1980, and we still have them around. We need some new stuff thats for sure. The MetNav stuff is just as old too. So do you work for ITT-G? Gotta be nice - having contractor job at a place like Eglin. I had Eglin on my dream sheet forever but never could get there. Last time I drove through there was May 2000 when I was on vacation after the SNCOA - went to Ft Walton Beach to watch the 1st round of the IJSBA tour back then. I'll have to look you up if we're ever by there again...

Enjoy all,
