I am a first time jet ski buyer (have been on a few though) and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on what make and model is the best to buy. What are some important things to look for in a jet ski when buying one?

What type of riding will you be doing? Are you going to be riding by yourself or with passengers?

Post as much information as possible so people can give you a good recommendation.

I am beginning to feel like a broken record..... not only what type of riding... what conditions (rough, smooth water) and what are your goals? Do you want the fastest, baddest PWC on the planet (probably the Sea Doo RXP/RXT).... do you want to tinker with it a bit to make it faster (Yammy GPR); are you looking for fuel economy and dependability (Honda). Probably the best bet is to go look at them and ride as many as possible and figure out what you like. While all manufacturers make lemons from time to time I don't think any make really bad craft.
