was out last weekend and all of a sudden i lost some top speed So i look to see if anything was wet inside engine compartment, Everthing was dry and then i touched catalyst housing. And it was not hot at all so i thought the cat. came apart. When i got home i figured i should take apart and put a d plate, When i was taking the front outter exuast joint hose out i noticed a clamp lose on inner exuast joint hose. After taking clamp out i noticed that the clamp had snapped in half. When i moved muffler assemble back and looked a the cat. inside it still looked like brand new, Not bad for 85 hours on ski. What was happening is the clamp snapped in half and exuast was going past the hose into the water passage. Under full throttle and causing it to lose power, Thats why the cat was cold. took it back out and it's fine now. Has anybody had a problem with clamp snapping in half on inner exuast joint on there 1300.
