I'm lookin for some new water to ride on. I ride on the Allegheny River now. We are willing to consider driving a little ways for good waters. Upper Md or WV or eastern OH all will be considered. Anyone got any recommendations? Gonna be at least a couple ski's and a pontoon boat... mebbe more boats and/or ski's.

Upper MD try Deep Creek lake, miles of shore line but stays pretty cool and windy. Northern WV Cheat Lake in Morgantown gets pretty crowded, but awesome ride heading up river toward Coppers Rock. Anywhere from Point Marion up to Fairmont WV on the Mon. plenty of smooth water and not much boat traffic. A longer drive, but worth the trip is Summersvile lake in the middle part of WV. At least they were all good places to go back in the day (12 years ago). Now I just head down to the bay, ocean or Havasu.

I just went upriver past Brady's Bend 3 weeks ago. Turned around just downriver of Parker!! Was on Lake Erie mid-July and had a blast, but we are looking for somwhere to go on 2nd weekend of Sept. so hard to tell bout Erie. Been on Kinzua with my boat, but never my ski... hadn't thought of it! Don't wanna ride downtown... too much garbage in the river and don't like the city!! Big Grin Might look into New River. Thanks Lennox!

721, My boss goes to Deep Creek, they now have restrictions on ski's, they don't go into detail on the website, but I guess ya can only ride at certain times of the day! I'll hafta check into the other places though... if nothing else, to think about for next summer!!!

Thanks again you guys!!! Big Grin
