If so, consider using earplugs when you tune.
You can actually hear your engine (and surroundings) BETTER than without the earplugs. Hard to believe? Try it in an uncrowded area. It is AMAZING how much better you can hear the engine, pipes, etc... I could actually hear the butterflys snapping shut now. I was using 34db reduction soft foam plugs. mark, should the engine be running while tuning?i would think if it was off u would be able to hear better

Mark, I dont wear the plugs with tuning the ski on land. But when ever im riding the ski I always have my ear plugs in. If not my ears ring for hours after a days ride.

ALl I can hear on my RXP while riding is the wind, water and a slight SC whine.
On my old GPR and STXR it was WAAAAAAAAAHHHH all the time. |
