Southern Texas riders please keep a look out for my skis. Sunday mourning I had my intire rig stolen form the Motel 6 just west of Genes Polaris.

#1 01 Yamaha GPR, orange race #s 221, Okalhoma registration, vin#Yama4364J001,superstock motor, ski WILL NOT run above 4200Rpm

#2. 97 Sea-Doo xp, looks like a 99 (grey hood) OK registration,HT mats R&D pipe, BS carbs,vin# zznj2338e797

#3. Black two place trailer, NO TAG, Dorcey trailers is the maker, aluminium wheels

#4. The pickup has been recovered in Houston, striped.

#5 personal items, race gear, tools, generator

This is 5 years of investment in to my skis, only the gpr and pickup is insured, and then only the stock setup on the gpr.Any help would be appreciated.

Good point on the pic Bullraider.

Last year this happened to Andy Wise, they broke into his storage and stole a double decker trailor with 5 ski’s on it. I just don’t understand how people do this crap.

I don’t know if this will help, but I once heard that the insurance will pay for the ski’s as long as they were attached to the insured vehicle.

Another Westside lookout here.

I disagree with you Texas800. I am a Police Officer and we do what we can. I recover at least 1 vehicle every 2 weeks which usually end up in a vehicle chase. Not very fun at all. My area of town is SE Houston. Lots of crimes all day/all night. Do the stats on the crimes and you will retract your answer. I will also keep my eyes open.

Glen, I wish you had taken me up on the offer to stay here at my house the night before the race.
My neighbour is a former Baytown cop now a DEA. He is a pwc owner and former racer too. He said he will try and push the people he knows at Baytown to see what they can/will do.
No telling where the ski's are at this point, like he said its best if the pwc community keep there eyes out for the skiis.
Not knowing how smart the thieves are to take any race #'s off to keep it from standing out is a big factor. Lets hope they are real stupid and try and sell em on ebay or see em on the water.
Remember guys these skiis are Okalhoma registered skis. The TX #'s will be OK #'s.
I helped glen with the skiis for a few hours last sat and if the ski's are spotted here in Houston CL area call me on the cell I will come quick as I can.
The GPR has stock bars, Grips, Trim but the rubber/plastic pad is removed so you see the stock SS bars. Another easy identification tool.
13" aluminum wheels on black trailer.
Like Glen said the GPR wont go past mid throttle, so who ever takes it to the lake will be dissapointed.
If you guys see soemone selling gpr/seadoo stuff for these two ski's in the houston area on the net/ebay. Let me know, Ill act to buy the parts that way to find out where the seller is and if its legit.
Lets find these ski's.

Coop,
Well I know I have had some stuff stolen in Harris County and the Constables did nothing. I even found some at a house and they would NOT help me recover it. I had the serial numbers and everything. What did they do NOTHING!! All I am saying is Houston is a big place and it seems there are bigger fish from them to deal with.

I did not mean any harm and I do respect the job you do!
Thanks,
Texas800

Texas800 I wasn't trying to be mean. My bag. I know some guys are lazy at what they do and at my job I wont work with them. To me that makes them dangerous. You did have recourse since they did nothing. Did they even interview the suspects? Sad. Anyway, we'll meet up and ride together as soon as I get my parts back and I put my boat back together.
