Hi. Im new on this board, although have been a member on numerous other PWC sites. I am here looking for other opinions on what to start with modding my stock 2001 800 XL. I contacted Island Racing and liked what they had to say. The first thing I am going to go with is the PV clips...I know i have needed those for a long time and am finally gona get around to doing that before i have any problems...but what are your opinions on some cheap, first mods? I am thinking ride plate, intake grate, and impeller.

i'm thinking xlt 800. right? on mine i have the free flow exhaust , solas 11/14 impeller and riva intake and ride plate. like a new machine 55-56 honest mph on the garmin gps. full load of fuel and 200 lb rider all for less than 600 bucks.
