c4del, BRO, THIS IS WHAT I HAD BEEN TELLING IN THE BOARD LATELY, THAT KAWASAKI IS COMING WITH A "MONSTER" BOAT FOR NEXT YEAR, but it seems to me that nobody beleive me.... Roll Eyes For this same reason is that i am goin to stay with my 04 "normal aspirate" Kawi STX-15F for "only" this year Wink

I am goin to quote myself: This is what i am telling to all my buddies here, that this year 04 is the beginning of the end to all the 2 stroke boats around here, do you think that Kawasaki, Yamaha and Polaris watercraft manufacturers are goin to let Bombardier get away with it???? of course not, i received some inside info from my local Kawasaki dealer that confirm this, in fact my 04 STX-15F boat is goin to be for sale at the end of the month of september and I will become the first person here in our island to own a 05 STX-15F-R with a Supercharged and intercooled 225-250 hp 4 stroke engine inside the hull, you can down load this info for the future Wink have a nice day all, Ray AMEN!!!!

You can check this info in the Riva Sea Doo forum, in the thread (RXP Feb ride in middle tn) posted By board member SuperSeaDoo (Jim Milliken), have a good night all, Ray

Yep...word is already out here in Florida. Rumors again...like the GPRX. We will see..if Dustin has seen it, I believe him.
Kawi always comes in the back door with a surprise..like the STXR.

I do find it interesting that Yami really hasn't jumped in with both feet on a hi-po 4-stroke 2 seater...almost like they are waiting to grab the high-seat glory for one year, after all the bombs are dropped... or are MIA for ANOTHER year. Frown

the STXR was a surprise? To who?

Letmeseeknow... take that stellar engine out of the bouncing-dog ultra and put it in the underpowered, yet excellent platform STX.

Let me restate it for the record how jelous I am, that they don't have a decent top deck for taller riders. Just wanted to make sure that I had said that again this week....

I hea Yamaha is concentrating on an new entry level ski to gain back the rental market they lost with the XL700 platofrm being 100 years old. Look for their entry level ski for 05 to have an all new 4-stroke with around 100 HP.

As for a perfomance boat, someone once told me that what Riva does usually makes it to production 2 years later, since the SC for the FX series was really tooled late last year by Riva my guess is that it will be on a production boat in 05 as an 06 model maybe....

by 2006, I would have bought the kawi and most wouldnt wait that long. If it were at the same time, I think I would have to go with the GPRish unless kawi has some magic. Never yet a kawi fan. Dont like the ergo and handling and popularity for parts on RIVA website Wink

Hope this thing hits the market late this year. RXP was a good ski.
I think I would have to switch gears to kawi SC. Seadoo SC is slow nowFrown Triple GPR is not the greatestFrown Waiting for Yamaha SC!!

No bolt on SCs allowed there, the boat was built for the race and for sale after the line was crossed.
And even not considering Mac there was 4 more STXs (1 R and 3 15Fs) to complete a green top 5...
