Dave Bamdas Elected to IJSBA Board of Directors

The International Jet Sports Boating Association (IJSBA) is please to announce that the first new Director was elected to serve on the IJSBA Board of Directors.

For the first time in the history of the IJSBA, Associate member companies voted in a representative from the aftermarket, publishing, dealer and apparel industries thus ensuring a diversified yet representative Director for this segment of the watercraft sports industry.

Dave Bamdas, of Riva Motorsports was elected to the first term as a representative of the IJSBA Associate Members. Bamdas will be joined in the next two (2) weeks by representatives from the racers, watercraft manufacturers and IJSBA Affiliates as those elections are still in progress.

"I am excited to be a part of the decision making process within the IJSBA,” said Bamdas. “As a member of the Board of Directors, I look forward to using my experience to further the sport of Personal Watercraft Racing," he added.

Biorn Tangeland, Managing Director of the IJSBA stated, “Being able to work closely with personalities like Dave creates a great opportunity to collaborate with leaders of our industry. Our members have always been an invaluable resource, and I look forward to working more closely with him and the member group that he represents to support the industry and grow our sport.”

The new IJSBA Board of Directors will officially take office on Friday, April 22, 2005 with the elected Directors’ list being posted shortly thereafter.
