This Saturday we lost a very close friend and one of the "ISLAND BOYS" died in a jet ski accident. Although he rarely posted here, he was still a forum member "4slowGPRs". He had a wife and a 4yo daughter. Here was a man who truly loved the summer and looked forward to ride every chance he had.
The only pic I could find was the pics of the day when Mark Hahn of RPM came to visit 2 years ago. The first pic "P005128" is of a 82.8 run on John's Triple and John can be seen in pic "P005144"on page 2. He is the one in the center with the orange vest.

John, we all loved you. I will always remember all those late nights wrenching having a few Coronas. You will truly be missed.
Your Friend
Carl

I will miss the jokes and hospitality. John was one of a kind..I can still hear his voice screaming "Hey Buddy!"...

Flynn's this week was just not the same without him...

My prayers and thoughts are with his daughter, wife, and Mikey.

Not a day goes by that we miss our dearest friends one way or another.

Carl.........sorry to hear about your loss. Keep in mind all of the things he enjoyed about you ...... and you enjoyed about him. Nothing takes that away.

Rest assured.......we will see those we care about again someday.

In my thoughts and prayers.

I listen to what the voices inside my GPR glove box tell me to do.

Those who new John new he was a great guy- nobody ever had a bad thing to say about him- those of us who spent the day with John at Freeport on sat. had such a good time - We all were saying to each other how it's going to be such a great summer- - nobody would have ever thought something like this would happen--rideing on the great south bay this summer will not be the same without him-- we will always remember him-- my prayers go out to his family and friends.

Sorry to hear about the loss of life, but can anybody explain why he was riding so close and fast to a boat that was stopped? Maybe if this is understood if might save another life.
