I am trying to replace the bolts to a higher grade (8 or 10) on the ride plate, intake grate, and pump shoe, so the heads wont ever break off. I was wondering if anybody knows of any good sites were I can find metric bolts.

Try these:

Bolt Depot

Nuts & Boltz

Imperial bolts

Apex Fasteners

Also, make sure you are torquing them properly per specs. The bolts in the ride plate, intake grate and pump shoe do not ask for much torque.

Able can get you anything and they do not have a minimum dollar order amount. I bought some socket head cap screw type bolts when I put an ADA head on my GPR, looks super clean. Grade 8 should be plenty strong enough and easier to come by.

What is able? Do they have a web site, or a phone #?
Thanks

Yeah, make sure you torque them correctly. I had my torque wrench set improperly last night and snapped the head off an intake grate bolt. Lucky there was enough hanging out to grab with vise grips and twist out...

I had to heads break off, and 2 inserts spinning. I removed all 4 inserts, what is a good adhesive to for the new inserts? I was thinking 5200, but I remember hearing that 4000 was better.
