Anyone ride up there off of River Road? My dad and I plan on heading out to break in his boat and I was going to bring my ski. Shallow? Rocky?

Jack, didnt check the board before the weekend. We ride there. It can be a bit sketchy, lots of surprising shallows. Email me if you are headed there this weekend and I'll give you the nickel tour.

Yea, I just rode around scoping it out. I noticed you need to pretty much stay in between the island on the north and the bridge to the south. Nice area, clean and more family friendly than Neshaminy State Park. I'll feel better taking my family there to play on the shore and what not.
My dad got his boat out there and buzzed around some more and he likes it too. He saw some skis out there the day he was out. I'll see you out there. |

Actually you can go above the bridge above the launch, but dont risk it without a guide!! =)

hey guys-
there is a huge group of NJ/PA riders on the PWCtoday forum www.pwctoday.com we (usually about 10 of us, on up to 30) meet up pretty much every weekend and go riding. our home base is up at bulls island on the NJ side (the second entrance on the left going north, about 10 minuts north of lambertville). we also make ocean trips and go to other locations a few times a month. come check us out! we have a meeting arranged for this saturday and monday up at bulls island. saturday roughly 10 of us are showing up, about 15 to 20 on monday. lots of different skis there too! -greg _______________________________________ 05 SXR 98 SJ 94 Waveblaster NJ/PA Crew President -AWA charter club www.njpacrew.org |
