I'm getting my ski repainted and new decals put on. The shop has told me that after they paint the ski, they need an additional 30 days for the paint to cure and apply the new decals.
Does this sound right? Is boat paint special or different than car paint? Thanks, |

what kind of paint are they useing and are they clear coating it? If you look at the custom painted crafts on this forum just down a few lines I had the orange one with purple flames and it had 2 coates of diamond coat clear and yes it can take some time to cure, also hows it being storred

Its not a custom paintjob and will not have clear coats applied. The ski has some scratches and its just getting repainted. The ski is currently stored inside.

Ramn I would still find out what paint manufacturer it is, ie: ppg or house o kolors
then call them and ask what they call the curring time. 04gp13 02 seadoo gtxdi 99gp1200 wildest looking gp this side of the miss, went by by. |

RAM, where are you having the paint done? I work in NJ and am looking to have paint work done, but local shops seem afraid to touch a waverunner for less than $900. Thanks
