This system was introduced in the mid 90's on aftermarket exhaust systems by Factory Pipe. Been around for years. Basically does the same thing as the "Jetworks Mod" except there are "electronics" involved when the time water is injected.

This same concept can be done ALOT cheaper using the Fercho conversion.

Yes, Same principal.

Closed under 3500 rpms yes. but opens for more back pressure at higher rmp's.

Just do the Jetworks mod as rx961 is speaking of. This can be done in in a hour.

Negative. Its not the same. Some injection systems inject water at lower RPM to change the sonic wave. That is a complete different setup!!!!

Hence the electronics involved on other systems.....it can be tailored to adjust at different RPM's

With the Jetworks modification, you are still altering the speed at which the sonic wave travels in the exhaust system. By adding water; jetworks or ECWI, it is altered, bottom line. Still the same in my books.

The Jetworks mod is a great modification for the GPR, but the Jetworks mod for the GPR is not new technology. It is just a different application using slightly different principals.

Here is the electronic version for the Sea-Doo

I think we will all agree the simple jetworks tap and drill mod works. Whether the stock pipe fercho way, or like I did with the stinger 3. They are a little different but both are effective.

What do you mean by he is now a master. That wasn't called for. He simply answered a question that was right. I have NEVER read on this board where there was any ONE qualified yamaha tech to answer questions, just people who have learned from their own experieces (or called others and asked them questions and then shared their information for all). That is what this board is supposed to be about! If thats the case, none of us should answer anything and this board would be sinking ship. I think people would be suprised if we all knew who either called or emaled the other to answer questions. Anything I can share I am a open book and am willing to help. I am Not an expert, but I know what has worked for me on my boat. Continue to email buds!! Smile

What I said wasn't heavy or intended to be mean, but what was said was not intended to be a joke. Dave you know that as well as I do.

Let's slow down and take a deep breath, crack your knuckles and not look into things too deep before posting further. This is getting a little out of control. Besides, there are far worse things to worry about right now...
