In 2004 2 strokes will be allowed to sport a capacity of 1300cc, fighting 1600cc 4 strokes, n/a or not in the European tour.
Guess 1300R owners will be happy to be able to race them.
Mybe Riva should consider coming up with another batch of 1300R race edition for Europe, since now they're going to be race legal...

Well they raised the cc from 1200 to 1300 so a 1300R can race and a Riva race edition would be a good stock class racer.

I meant :
four strokes, n/a or not=naturally aspirated or not (or not like in SC or turbo)...
Hope it's clearer.

the riva race edition 1300 is not a legal stock class
first they have to be made more than 500 to be legal the other riva is not a manufacture off the ski yamaha is the one who have to produce the unit

ijsba super stock sport national champion
pro-am 1200 super stock champion www.coscaperformance.com

I know that Bill, but can't we dream a little?
Anyhow if Riva wanted to produce 500 of them they would be considered a manufacturer, like Hartge does with BMWs.

In New Zealand we have a class 1201 cc+ Stock and 1201 cc + Super Stock.

They are open to any craft 2 stroke or 4 stroke, NA, Turbo or SC that have a capacity larger than 1200 cc.

Interest is very low at this stage...

Cheers

Peter
