took my '01 gpr in the into the local yami shop today,needless to say, i was not very thrilled about.with 85 hrs and only my Y.E.S warr to help back me up. i gave it my best shot.
btw , any "services" they recommened to me at this time were ok'd just to show my good faith and willingness to keep my ski maintained.
my warr issues were pretty straight forward, (1) the foam seal at the rear of the intake grate fell out (2) overheat light comes in the first ten min of riding only (3) seems to smoke excessively or running too rich since they pulled the engine out twice already.to my suprise the "estimate" was $400.00 wow .he went on to explain nothing is covered under warr and they wanted and extra 1hr labor charge to "lake test" my concerns. it was my understanding defects are warranty, after all what did i spend $800.00 for? i do plan to call Y.E.S myself,but i wondering if anyone else has had this happen?
oh, and don't want to forget to mention my new double trailer bought from them (6mths old) has lights that have not worked properly after a rain or any water contact.. that also has no warranty!

I havn't needed to use my Y.E.S. and from what I hear it's useless anyway. Seems as though the Y.E.S. paper would be better used in the mens room.
