If you have to modify your boat to keep up with the RXP's, which in this case you do...then have at it, keep spending your money to keep Yamaha in business with their aftermarket parts. Might have plastic chrome but you can only see it when I stop to drink a beer. Cool

First of all..Orlando Florida here and not a fly by nighter and not a bull ******
What does it matter if I post my location or not..My real friends know who I am, we ride every Saturday and more then welcome to take a vacation to come to ORlando for a fun ride, all we have been trying to say is if going to a river your gonna know the RXP was right up there or more...SO everyone enjoy your own preferred ski...IN SHORT TERMS LIGHTEN UP!!!, and as they all say Ride more, worry less.. Cool

Good advice - lighten up. I personally don't care for the size or look of the RXP, but last weekend I got to know a local guy with one. It's real fast, and gave some of us a run for our money. Nice ski - let's see how the reliability issues work out over time. But I'm here to tell you, if your GPR only has a 13/19 and flame arrestors, you're going to get your butt handed to you.

Go buy some new goggles. I would bet your old ones got ripped off of your face from bow spray.

Lucky for me my friend who drives the GTX supercharged boat is 61 years old. He does have a personel trainer and he is getting better.

Do not do 35-40 boat will porpoise, and it feels like you are on a merry go round. Do not care if HO 160 has power trim or tilt steering cause every stock gtx seadoo I have seen blows the HO 160 away, so welcome to the world of seadoo, by the way dont forget to reach for your fuel controller to try to figure out where your speed has went when boat is heated up. Yamaha might be very fast if you sit on the sidelines watching all of the seadoo's have fun while you only can get one fast run for speed mark...but that is only one run for four quarters of the game!!! When I rode the rxp with stage 1 kit installed, the top speed was there @ aprox 72mph, but its bad overall feeling and handling made me miss my modded GPR!! If you get the GPR to the same speed as the RXP, the GPR is a much better handling and riding boat and im my opinion....looks better too! I just dont like the RXP at all!!!
