Hey everyone I have a question.. I was wondering if it really mattered where the registration #'s go on a ski.. I mean as long as they are visiable is it a must to only put it in certain locations on a ski.. I have a 800 sxr that I just got custom painted and and putting the reg #'s in the proper place would mess up the custom look of the ski.. I was thinking of putting them on the handpole but not sure if the patrol will like that.. Can anyone shead some lite on this ??

Posting from experience I say place them where they should be placed and make sure they're visible. Meaning make sure they stand out from the background. I know you don't want to ruin a sweet paint job, but we (pwc'ers) aren't always the local law enforcement's favorites. No sense giving them a reason to hassle you, right!
