Our catalog has increased overall every year. I know that to be a fact as I oversee everything related to it (print & web).

In the past we private labeled a few products, but nowadays we make all of our products or work directly with companies like Vortech to make RIVA exclusive products. If you have any specific examples please feel free to post them.

Ok I should'nt say getting smaller. It seems like your catalog changes alomst every year. Some people work off a budget and try to save up to purchase certain products but by the time they do the item has been clearenced out and no longer produced. Yet I also realize the law of supply and demand but when some of these people cant afford to change boats to keep up, wouldnt make sense to keep some of your past products in limited qountities for such people like me? I have used your products for years and have very little issues with them and your parts sale department is awsome, but this is the only issue I have. Not that it is a big issue but just wanted something else to discusse. thanks.

Yes, our catalog changes every year. That's supposed to be a good thing from what I've learned. We keep products in stock as long as sales demand it based on the expense of production. That includes the price of materials, manufacturing, packaging, labor to package and cost of inventorying the part(s). We have to pay that Uncle Sam guy to keep the parts on our shelves! Wink

I don't recall any of our parts that have had a shelf life of only one year. Most run the course of the model they're manufactured for. Again, based on demand. Typically it's about 2~3 years minimum.

We struggle with discontinuing parts. It's difficult as we know there are customers that depend on aftermarket manufacturer's so they can keep they're "timeworn" pwc in top running order. Yet there comes that inevitable time when me must "disco" a part. It's unfortunate, but necessary.

Thanks for the feed back. I also wanted to say thanks to Pete and his staff for all the support they have given me over the years. Last year was a pretty good year for me hopefully I can continue the good fortune next year.
thanks
