Removing the water box will make your craft unbelievably and obnoxiously loud. So, unless you want to alienate yourself and annoy everyone else on the water you should use a water box. Only when the craft is highly modified does it help to remove the water box. And even then it's only minimal.

When you say "seems a little slower" are you referring to how it feels? Did you document top speed while it was stock and then again after modifying it using a GPS or radar gun?

Which intake grate are you using?

What "straight pipe" are you referring to? Are you not running a water box at all or are you using a Free Flow Exhaust Kit?

yes i did gps the top speed stock
Good! A lot of people make the mistake of not doing that prior to modifying their craft. The ride plate is one of if not the most important component when it comes to improving top speed. Our Performance Ride Plate for the Ultra will net a 2+ mph gain in top speed alone! The reverse gate brackets are built in so you don't have to buy additional parts in order to retain the convenient reverse feature.

The straight pipe won't do anything real noticeable for top speed. Again, it's a mod that's done primarily with highly modified craft (major motor work, turbocharger system, etc.).

Yes, we do sell the Pre-Filters seperately. Click here to order part# RK13090PF-BK.

We achieved our results using all of the parts combined running in ideal conditions with a 175lb rider.

Great! Let us know.

BTW - Are you testing in fresh water or salt water? Salt water will reduce top speed with jet drive craft.
