The Ultra 150 was pretty fast in stock form in its day. A few simple mods (about $750.00 at retail) will improve top speed and acceleration, but more noticably handling. Ultra 150's are known for having a mind of their own when it comes to handling in choppy conditions.

Basic Modifications:

Intake Grate

Ride Plate Extension

Extended Steering Nozzle

You can expect a well tuned Ultra 150 to run about 66+mph in ideal conditions with these parts.

If it's in your budget there are a few additional modifications you can do that will improve overall performance.

Additional Upgrades:

Ride Plate (in place of Ride Plate Extension)

Cylinder Head Kit (requires minimum 91 octane pump fuel)

Air Filter Kit

Reed Stuffer Kit

These additional mods should put you in the 67+mph range with greatly improved acceleration and handling as compared to stock. Again, with a well tuned Ultra 150 riding in ideal conditions. Add about $300.00 at retail.
