whats the break in period for the ultra 250x how many hours for break in , and when should i do my first service , got a ultra going to pick it up friday ,

The break in period is about 10 hours. That is also when you should do your first service. After that you should service the craft every 50 hours or 12 months. Whichever comes first. For service procedures please refer to the Kawasaki Service Manual.

ok thanks my freind has one he tells me 5 hours to breakin and ten hours for the first oil change , just wanted to know for facts

i got the craf yesterday the owner manuals says 5 hours to break in , should i follow that or put on the ten hours , ,

You want to go by the manufacturer's recommendation. That way there are no questions if a problem comes up. Today's watercraft record everything you do so when the dealer hooks up to the diagnostics they can see what happened and when. The ECU acts as "the black box"! Wink
