I've decided to buy a new jet ski instead of used. I'm leaning toward the 15F because it is cheaper than the RXP/T and from things I hear it is also more reliable. The 15F handles great doesn't it? If I'm wrong correct me. It is not as fast as the RXP/T on top end but is close on bottom end. Isn't RIVA coming out with an RPM kit for the 15F soon? Is Kawi coming out with a sc version of the 15F in Sept? Does anyone know how much the price on these skis going to run? Will they out run the RXP/T? Thanks for any help.

Ride a 15F first before you buy it if you can. I found it to be a wet ride. Great hole shot but the max speed will be around 61-62MPH GPS. The 15F will not outrun the RXP/T.

Where do you get the idea of the 15f of being a wet ride? I owned a 15f and the rxp. The rxp is the ski that is a wet ride. I had to install a splash guard to keep me drier.

I rode one for several months (a friends) and IMO it is a wet ride.

So is the RXP. Without a splash guard the RXP is just as wet, if not more.

The STX hull is NOT a wet ride, the RXP is probably the most annoying wet ride of any watercraft made, constantly in the face Mad. The Kawasaki is the better built boat, handles night and day better than anything else out there, and has a really high fun factor. The seadoo feels like an over size, over weight couch in comparison. Try them for yourself and you will see what im talking about.

Im not sure what is coming out.......Im waiting to see myself. I just picked up a Superstock STXR that is FASSSSTTT as He11, but if I am not happy with what is coming out for 2007, I WILL buy a current STX15F and the Full blown Supercharger/Race kit from Riva and that will be my winter project. Big Grin Im actually hoping I dont like the new models, just because I know how killer the supercharged STX15F is....I seen them run...WOW

I thought the new skis coming out in 07 were going to be supercharged. I've heard rumors of 240 hp. When is RIVA coming out with their RPM it for the 15F.

240HP is great IF it were to be in the same hull, but If Kawasaki goes the same route as sea doo and makes a 950LBS tank, its a wast of time and fuel. The Riva kit is over 300HP Big Grin I hope I dont like the new 2007 boats...... As soon as I confirm what is coming, I will plan on what my next boat will be.
Riva Crew, make sure you have an extra supercharger kit set aside for me Wink

It will more than likely consist of the same parts with the exception of the impeller pitch.
