I am installing a primer on my buddy's kawi 750sx, and am wondering where to install the plunger. I usually drill out the choke hole on a kawi 550 or a yami 701, but the kawi 750sx has a funky side pull choke knob that turns, and there is no clearance inside for the plunger. Any ideas before I start drilling holes???

Install it the same as the others. You just need to open up the hole enough to accommodate the pump. Use a Dermmel or porting tool.
