Since I am only doing some bolt on mods right now (grate/plate/impeller/Timing Advance/etc), will the V-Force reeds really give that much improvement? Also, if I go with these reeds I wil have to modify the intake also, correct?
Have been told the OEM arrestors perform well and provide great water protection for a stock or slightly modified ski like I am creating. Only recommendation was to remove the rubber silencers. Anyone have an opinion? *** '05 800SXR R&D Plate & Grate Solas 14/23 Prop Factory Wet Pipe R&D Arrestor Dual Auto Bilge Spring Tensioner Sponsons Vanity Mods + Graphics *** '05 VX110D Auto Bilge *** '68 Wife '96 Kid '94 Kid |

I'd recommend going with our http://www.rivayamaha.com/RivaStore/product_page.asp?Category=RIVA%20SX-R%20Reed%20Spacer%20Kit to start out with. They provide the best performance improvement for the money! If you feel you need even more you can always add the V-Force Reeds. Which are a significant investment.
You can run our Power Filters without worrying about water as long as you use our pre-filters. They allow air to flow freely while preventing water from entering the engine during normal use. RIVA CREW Please post and ride responsibly!!! |
