Hello all,

I've been completely out of the sport for nearly 8 years and finally just got back into the game (used to run on a custom 86'JS550 with quite a few mods). Just purchased two new skis from Riva here in my area (Pompano Beach location), one of them a Kaw 800-SXR. Things have changed a lot since I owned (to say the least), and would like some help choosing what mods to add (trying to balance needs, wants, and $$$ like everyone else I guess).

Here is my list of mods that I came up with based on need, want, and wish (lol). I would really appreciate your input and comments. Suggested manufacturer and models would be VERY appreciated with the comments too Thanks!!!

Need:
Pole, spring tensioner, hood latch, arrestors, reeds, grate, ride plate, timing advance, impeller, and bilge.

Want:
Wet pipe, exhaust flange (just to make it look better), turn plate, sponsons,and possible cylinder head kit(?)

Wish:
Dry pipe, Manifold, carbs, cylinder work, etc..
