For those interested in a programmable option for our Supercharger Kit MACC Racing is one source you can try. They're an "Authorized RIVA Performance Products Dealer".

I'm sure it could run on good pump gas, i'm sure that a de-tune would be needed but i'm sure it could be done. Both systems use a knock sensor that would pretty much not allow the motor to reek havok upon itself. The systems also have a "OBD II" that could be wired to a check engine light so you would know if something bad was happening:-(

How much is the MACC ECU? In what aspects is it adjustable?

We're just finishing a 69" Mach 1 with a 4 valve mod motor w/ a Kenne Bell. It's gonna be the slickest one yet!!! Rolling on a 1 off set of Foose wheels of course. It's for the producer of Rides/Overhaulin'. We did it to a 67 also for a customer in Arkansas, i'll try to dig up some pics for you.
