I'm sure it could run on good pump gas, i'm sure that a de-tune would be needed but i'm sure it could be done. Both systems use a knock sensor that would pretty much not allow the motor to reek havok upon itself. The systems also have a "OBD II" that could be wired to a check engine light so you would know if something bad was happening:-(
How much is the MACC ECU? In what aspects is it adjustable? I used to live on South Conway by Orlando Executive Airport... that would have been convienent!!! I'm in NE Georgia now... Beetween a full load of classes at College, the Boss' STX-R, and getting a "Blown" 69' Mach 1 and a "New" 69' Camaro wired up for SEMA at work, i can't seem to find time for anything!!! We're just finishing a 69" Mach 1 with a 4 valve mod motor w/ a Kenne Bell. It's gonna be the slickest one yet!!! Rolling on a 1 off set of Foose wheels of course. It's for the producer of Rides/Overhaulin'. We did it to a 67 also for a customer in Arkansas, i'll try to dig up some pics for you.
