You will only hear speculation. There is no firm word.

Kawasaki's Ace team of dip shirts is so busy not doing their Public relations job, they have got to clean house over there in the watercraft branch of the PR team.

Terrible

What I am saying is :
Kawasaki has virtually no desire to create or stir some interest with an ad or some preview pics in advance of what they are working on.
Think of it this way: How many new RXT's and FX cruisers will be sold this summer to those buyers who would have held off and pre-ordered the New Kawasaki ski if they were just given some advance specs and pics of the new Hull and Colors?
It's not like they have employees who don't care if they sell the new ski... or is it? I remember when Polaris had the new preview pics of their MSX lineup that was featured on their website and announced in advance, it got a huge number of potential buyers to see what they were going to look like. At this time Kawasaki is too big of a company that churns on day after day, not caring if the watercraft dept. sells any skis at all. ?
SeaDoo comes out with 10-20 new Vest colors and designs , Kawasaki still has the same vests as they did in 1999. The Marketing is just not there for Kawasaki. How much does an ad in "Ride" Magazine cost to post some preview pics of the 2007 skis? Not that much for a Big Corporation like Kawasaki.
The Dealers will order more if they have some pre-order interest from potential buyers.

Here is the current year Kawasaki ski we have,
You want to buy one, fine....... if not, fine.
That is their gameplan as far as I, the consumer, see it .

Kawi IS a big corporation. So big, in FACT, they don't care if you buy a ski or not. They are not made for you or I. They are the playtoys of the corporation. Pure and Simple. Anything past that, and you are just kidding yourself. This is a corporation that makes more money on one robot contract or one supertanker, than the ENTIRE watercraft budget for 10 years.

You really want to fit the M.O. of the target audience for Kawi? Go get a job AT Kawi, in Japan... make sure you are not over a certain height.

We met up with the AWA guys and they had John from the PR department of Kawasaki and he said the supercharged 15f will be released in Sept/Oct . It was actually refreshing to get a chance to talk with someone on the marketing team. I hope to meet up with him again if we can catch him while he is in Florida. They also had a guy from Reed Bro. but I didn't get his card so I forgot his name. He picked up the bar tab so he seems like a great guy to me.

I doubt they will release a supercharged version. They need a whole new design, kawis look so outdated ( sitdowns )

Although they did come out with an X-2 but they need to offer that here in the U.S.

That thing will sell. Especially if it is around $6k like their SXRs.

That is an article speculating what it would take to make a 4-stroke SX-R and how it might perform. It would be nice to see, but not likely for `07.
