I hope they dont change the hull. It has been the the best hull for closed coarse and for the recreational riders. Cant imagine a change. Plus Im sure Kawi can keep the prices lower due to not having to go through alot of new R&D.

I wonder when they will put a 4-stroke SC motor in a Ultra.

i find it odd that kawi would go for a patent on a machine that they have already produced in some portion (prototypes)....days prior to unleashing it to the public. and august 05 filling would tell me that the machine wouldnt be a 06 release but an 07. im far from any patent specialist.....so i am only speculating.

How is this, who told you? If they are changing the hull then wouldn't they have filled patten on the new hull as to keep others from coping it?
I often have been missled from others. I hope your being missled as this hull is awsome.

800-900 lbs.... man that is heavy. I am going to need a HEAVY DUTY double trailer for the 2 skis I plan to buy. I will need a trailer with a swing away tongue to fit in my garage. One that is going to hold up to the weight and the highway driving.

Any suggestions. HEAVY DUTY and durable. It does not have to be pretty ... just reliable and capable of supporting the weights of these skis plus fuel etc.

Dont need anymore than your standard trailer. This ski will not be 850-900 lbs.
Kawi will not make a performance SC craft then weigh it down to be nothing more impressive then a standard 15f.
Think of it the Yama SUV was a flop. Too big and slow, Gas hog.
The 15f is a great hull and motor platform. It will be retitled and sold as a performance craft. Bye Bye Ultra unless they can find a way to cram that motor in it. We are getting to close to the 2 stroke D-Day.

I wonder if Kawi made the SXR for a 4 stroke and slapped the 800 motor in it till they finish the R&D on a small 4-stroke. That enginge comp. looks huge with that little motor in it.
