try the 1 degree if you must try either, I tried the 2 degree and it screwed up my steering and its smoothness....
I tossed the POS and now run without the wedge.
PS, if you do go with the 2 degree, mount your steering cable on the bottom of the exit nozzle, not the top, since it will no longer be level if attached to the top.

^^
I dont know what this guy is talking about but i installed The R&D ride plate and 2 degree pump wedge to trim the nozzle up and I've gained a good share of top end. Didn't ruin my steering or anything like that. Although it does porpise with three people on it but i always ride solo. i have no top end figures all i can tell you is that my friend has a bone stock 1200 stx-r and when my 15f was stock he would beat me. Now at top end i pull on him.

PS. I called group K yesterday and they had a few left for half the price (50.00), but the salesmen didn't know if they were 1 or 2 degrees and I didn't want to take a chance.

Hi,

For the money (even thought that small piece of aluminium shim plate prob. costs about 20 bucks to make) it was well worth it. It added a solid 2 mph (if not more)to the top-end and lifted the bow so it doesn't nose-hunt as much. Basically, it just trimmed the boat up a bit and offered less drag.

Even though it certainly lifted the bow like I wanted, I'm more of a rec rider and love to double jump wakes, so I'm also going to get the R&D Rec plate. That combo should do what I want...
(The downside is I'm sure it will end-up porposing if/when I add a passenger though... .)
