Can they get the same power from a HO that Kawasaki is geting from the 15F engine? If there was 300hp on a HO it may very well win the off-shore races. But it will need to do at leat 75 MPH.

With money anything is possible. But since your starting with only 1050cc or 2/3 the motor size of the 15F it would be a very steep hill to climb.
300hp is not as easy as you think. And on 1052cc it would be a serious commitment in time and a huge amount of cash Trust me I know racing and motors. ...With a Bridgeport, Engine Lathe, and a Tig welder. I’ll make it….  |
