Them some fast Taxi's

How do you Dyno a watercraft motor with open cooling? Riva had one. Man was it a monster with the tanks and pumps, then all the jiggs for motor mounting.

Bruce S has the mapping for this specific motor set up. They spent alot of time and money getting it together and they lock it so you Aussie's cant get it from the Kiwi's.

If ya truely do have a dyno configured and set up for open cooling watercraft engines then your set. If not then Im afraid you may be going thru some motors before you get her dialed in. :/<:

we have dynoed two engines allready
the engine bolts to a cradle
then the cradel to the dyno through a clutch style diaphram and we had to manufacture a special drive shaft also to suit.
and two high flow garden hoses and away you go
BUT you do have to water test after that as you do have to change some setting when in the water.
but for finding power gains the dyno rocks for EG cam testing.

Cool.

That dyno config will answer 10 times more questions then these forums can.

Dyno's are the way to go. Our new one is awesome. Here's a shot of our head r&d guru Bruce Clarkson testing an engine.

No harm at all. If we developed that kit on our Dyno I'd be able to answer your questions.
