Hello,

I have a 15f 2007 with the modifications following :
Air filter
Primary water box mod
2° wedge pump
R&D pro-serie sponsons

I use my twin waterbox !

I seek to gain speed without losing too much in acceleration, must I take SOLAS 13/19 as R&D recommends it? or one 14/20? I am afraid of step capacity to take it along...

And for the waterline bypass, if i have (and use) my secondary WB, can a take this mod ? not dangerous for the engine or waterbox ?

What other mod for more speed ?

Bypass the secondary water box and go with a 14/20. Be sure to check your RPM's with an aftermarket tachometer. If they're to low have the prop repitched.

OK, thanks...

I test a 14/20 concord this week.

You said by pass the secondary waterbox, but i want to keep it ! :/<: to noisy without it.

Can i mod the waterline AND keep the secondary water box ?
it's not dangerous (overheat) if less water came in water box ?

Smile have allready looked at the explanations, afflicted for my questions... (I don't speak perfectly English)

Thus if I understood well:

I remove the waterline which comes from with dimensions the admission of the engine

I connect on the fitting brass the waterline which comes from the with dimensions exhaust of the engine

I connect the Waterline to stock fitting on top of pump inside hull in bottom of the waterbox.

Is what limps it with water more will not heat? is this dangerous ?
Thank you to confirm that I am not mistaken...

You cannot use the Endurance Kit cam shafts with a stock ECU. You will damage the engine.

Hi Riva crew,

I have another question for you (sorry) Big Grin

I have a 15f 2007 with the following mod :
R&D Air filter
Primary water box mod
R&D ride plate
R&D pro-serie sponsons
Impros 13/20 Concord
I use my twin waterbox

If i want buy the ENDURANCE engine kit for increase power, what impeller may i use with the stock pump (148mm) :

SOLAS 15/21
SOLAS 16/22

The best for this kit ?
i think the 15/21...

In your full endurance kit, i use a SKAT TRAK magnum pump with a 9/17, it's Ok but it cost more money... i don't do closed course or salom, i use my ski for offshore, endurance race...

Second question : if i don't want to use premium fuel (race fuel) can i put 2 gasket for decrease compression engine and use regular fuel ?
thanks for your answer... Smile

No problem. Sorry I missed your post above. To answer that first we don't have any experience with R&D's Power Shot. Our kits perform very well without it! Wink

Now, to your question about our Endurance Kit with the stock pump. I hate to sound like a broken negative record, but you can't run the stock pump with the Endurance Kit. You will eventually break the veins in the stock stator housing. Also, you need the increased hook up the Skat pump provides in order to take advantage of the power provided by the Endurance Kit.

The Skat pump set-up for the Endurance Kit is for "offshore, endurance" racing, not closed course.

We've never tested our Endurance Kit to see what you can do when the required race fuel is not available. We can't recommend running any of our kits if you can't run the recommended fuel. Otherwise we'd be opening ourselves up to liability.

Ok,

Thanks for your answer Smile

If i buy the endurance kit, i will buy SKAT pump with it...

For race fuel... it's a problem... i think a big gasket can resolve... Scratch Head

Riva Crew,

Ok, now this post may sound like a broken record to you guys because I'm sure you may have answered a question like this before, but I'm just curious:

If you were to take a 15F, match the fuel flow, exhaust, cam specs, and anything else I'm missing to an Ultra 250x, then use the Vortec Super Charger from your now not for sale supercharger kit; matched the intake pressure and air flow to the 250x as well; could the stock 250x ECU work with this motor on pump gas? If no, why?

The reason I ask is, I'm a Kawi guy. I'm probably going to buy a runabout in the near future and I am not a big fan of the new Kawi 250x Army Tank. It's too big and heavy...

Maybe so, but it rides nice in the rough stuff. I can't honestly answer your ECU question as we haven't tested it.
